Telefonica a Spain based telecom operator will get the exclusive privilege to sell first commercial Firefox powered smartphone manufactured by ZTE. ZTE Open will be costing at just 69 Euros i.e., $90 and clearly it’s suggested that it will be an entry level handsets like one those by Geeksphone.
Going through the specification of ZTE Open, it’s equipped with 3.5 inches HVGA display screen with gesture capacitive two point touch and includes 3.2 mega pixel fixed focus camera. It includes 512 MB internal memory with a micro SD card slot. Although the processor specifications isn’t know, it includes 256 MB RAM.
Since Firefox OS is lighter, it runs perfectly with 256 MB RAM as well. 1200 mAh battery provides the necessary juices to carry out functions like GPS, Bluetooth v2.1, music playback, video recording and lot more. It comes with WiFi internet access as well along with features like aGPS, Firefox MarketPlace app.

The phone is very cheap given to the specs it possess. One can easily find Android equivalent but if you are trying to get feel on Firefox OS then this is the right handset for you. Telefonica will also sell this handset in Venezuela and Colombia from next week.
